ARK provides flexible housing and support to people with learning difficulties and others who require assistance to lead lives of their choice.
ARK provides housing for people in 30 different communities in the East of Scotland.
ARK also provides support, in their own homes, for people with a wide range of needs including learning difficulties, mental health issues and the elderly. The aim is to allow people to live as independently as possible.
ARK’s Board of Management, all of whom are volunteers, is ultimately responsible for the running of the organisation.
All housing associations, whether companies limited by guarantee or Industrial and Provident Societies, are required to have a membership. Click to find out more about becoming a member.
ARK is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965,(No 1899s), it is also a Scottish Charity, (No. SCO15694) and registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator (no. HEP66).
