As with all housing associations the Committee of Management is ultimately responsible for the running of ARK. Members are all voluntary, and receive no payment for their participation. The Committee is elected from the members of ARK. To become a member any tenant can pay £1 for one share (the maximum anyone can own). ARK actively encourages tenants to become members. Membership is also open to non-tenants whose application for membership is approved by the Committee of Management.
