Salary: £27,019 - £30,313

With approximately 500 tenants located throughout the East of Scotland, we have a small team of staff providing a wide range of services within the Housing Department of ARK Housing Association.
We are seeking a highly motivated Housing Services Officer to join our team in delivering high quality, customer focused housing services. You must put our customers at the heart of everything you do and take personal pride and responsibility for delivering great outcomes for our customers and our business.
You will become a key member of the team reporting directly to the Senior Housing Services Officer. Your main responsibility will be to provide a range of core tenancy management services to tenants and tenancy management support to staff who deliver a high quality housing support service. This includes managing rent accounts including providing general welfare benefit advice, investigating tenancy disputes, management of estates, promoting tenant involvement and participation and ensuring compliance with the Scottish Social Housing Charter.
The successful candidate must be customer focused, enthusiastic, conscientious, adaptable and able to work independently where necessary. You must be able to display excellent communication and customer service skills and be very computer literate. In addition you should have a recognised housing qualification, an awareness of current housing issues and experience of working directly with tenants and promoting/encouraging tenant involvement/participation.
You will be based at our Office in the Edinburgh but will be expected to travel throughout the East of Scotland, particularly in Angus, Fife, Perth & Kinross, Clackmannanshire, West Lothian, East Lothian and the Borders. A current driving license and access to a car is therefore essential.
