ARK News - Summer 2018

The Summer issue of our newsletter is on its way to our service users and tenants.

With the newsletter we have also sent out the Survey Report 2017 which will tell you what kind of feedback ARK received last year from service users, family members and professionals.

On the cover of this issue you will find an article about the work that ARK has done to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that came into effect in May this year.

As usual, there are updates about the latest meetings of our service users groups: the Voices Group, the Working Group, the Hub Group and the local Speak Out Groups have been doing a lot in the past 3 months!

ARK also supports people in being active citizens in their communities – find out what campaigns and other groups are out there on the Active Citizenship article on page 8 and 9.

In this issue ARK Health and Safety Advisor Brian Gunn is focusing on how to avoid second hand smoke – have a read on page 21.

Interested in complaints? We like to be transparent and on page 22 our Quality and Compliance Manager John Rankin gives us an update about how ARK has been doing between January and March 2018.

Finally from page 23 there is our News for Tenants section with lots of useful information about help with costs, maintenance updates and a welcome to a new staff member.

Happy reading!

You can also find the most recent issues of the newsletter in our archive.
